Visiting Brook Hill

Are you looking for a church home, just curious, or somewhere in between? You are welcome at Brook Hill United Methodist Church. The steps below will help you know what to expect on Sunday morning.

  • Choose a Worship Service. Worship is at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes the same sermon with different music choices. On your first visit it is best to arrive about 10 minutes early to provide time to park and find your way to our sanctuary. Sunday School for children is held at 10 a.m. and for youth at 9 a.m. Classes for adults are available at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Childcare is offered in our nursery during both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.
  • Find a Place for Your Family. Welcome Center volunteers are ready to answer your questions before, between, and after each service. Just look for them behind the counter in the narthex. They can help direct you to the right Sunday school class or answer any questions you might have.
  • Celebrate Through Worship. Ushers will welcome you into the sanctuary and give you a bulletin outlining the service. Ushers can also help you find a seat. Visitors are not singled out, but are encouraged to visit the Welcome Center in the narthex for more information about Brook Hill. Biblical teaching, prayer, singing, giving, and communion are key components of worship at Brook Hill UMC. Large print hymnals and hearing assistive devices are available in the back of the sanctuary.
  • Let Us Help You. If you would like to talk about a personal concern or something you heard in the service, ask for a pastor or staff. Welcome Center volunteers will be able to direct you to the correct person. They or a member of the Healing Prayer Team can pray with you in the prayer room. The prayer room is located next to the narthex, down the classroom hallway.
