Brook Hill participates in outreach to the local community, regionally, and internationally.
Local Outreach
- January—Bedding collection for Sleep in Heavenly Peace
- January/February—Upward Sports Basketball for children grades K–6th grade
- March—Bikes for the World bicycle collection
- May (spring)—Food drive for Frederick Food Bank
- August—Church Yard Sale and Used Book Sale
- September—Craft Day
- September/October—Fall Food Drive for Frederick Food Bank, Food 4 Kids Drive for Yellow Springs Elementary School children
- October—Coat drive for those in need in Frederick (locals and refugees)
- November/December—Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign (bell ringing), Alternative Christmas Giving (the Giving Tree) for needy families
Ongoing Local Initiatives
- Frederick Food Bank donations
- Ministry to persons who are homeless
- Downtown Christian Fellowship – Saturday morning worship service at the Bernard Brown Center in downtown Frederick
- The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs
- Food 4 Kids (weekend meals for Yellow Springs Elementary School students)
- Sleep in Heavenly Peace – building and delivering beds, bedding collection
Regional/National Outreach
- Volunteers in Mission work team trips (twice yearly, spring and fall)
- Youth service projects
International Outreach
- Nicaragua – financial support of missionary family
- Bikes for the World – bikes processed and shipped worldwide
