Youth Ministries

Sunday School

Sixth through twelfth-grade students are invited to attend Sunday School at 10 a.m. where we discuss, debate, examine, and think about our faith, especially as it relates to current events around our country and world. We also study books of the Bible throughout the year.

Confirmation Class

Confirmation class is an opportunity for youth in middle and high school to examine their faith and claim the name “Methodist” as their own. Participants become confirmed members of our congregation on Pentecost Sunday.

Brook Hill Youth Ministry

Brook Hill Youth Ministry (BHYM) meets Sunday evenings from 6–8 p.m in the Youth Activities Center (YAC). It exists to bring all youth into a relationship with God, build them up in a community of other believers, help them grow in their faith, challenging them to live out their faith, and ultimately send them out into the world ignited with a passion to serve God in all that they do.

All youth in grades 6–12 are welcome. BHYM begins with a study/devotional where we discuss what the Bible is saying to us while sharing a meal. We incorporate an activity, such as a team-building activity, to enhance what we discuss.

If you would like to receive e-mail updates about what is happening with youth group subscribe to our e-mail list. Before taking part in any youth activity, an emergency form [PDF] must be filled out and turned in to the church. Scholarships [PDF] are available to help with the cost of participating in youth events. Please fill out the form and return it to the church office.
