For most my life, I clearly saw the images of I,
Some tall and clear and others not, never reaching for the sky.
It made no matter what I did, or how I lived my days.
It mattered not which way I looked, or how I changed my ways.
Until one day, I turned and saw that the images of I,
Were not of me, but nothing more, than the shadow from the sky.
I turned to face the blazing Sun, with all its warmth above,
I turned my life away from I, to a life that’s filled with love.
