Missionary Updates

Luke and Alyssa Miller are missionaries to Thailand and are doing amazing work for God’s kingdom there, focusing on youth ministry.

The Millers shared at Brook Hill last year when they were in Maryland. Luke is the brother of Pastor Dana’s daughter-in-law, Corrie Werts, and also a college friend of her son, Kyle.

Here is an update on the mission work of Andy and Melissa Cimbala, who serve with DiscipleMakers at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

We want to update you on the ministry of Ryan and Lena Mabe, missionaries Nicaragua. Lena is the daughter of Rusty and Katy Mossberg.

They have been serving in Nicaragua since January 2024 through Opportunity Missions Ministry for Transformation (OMMT). They help with community outreach which include children’s kitchens, VBS, and evangelism, as well as run a special needs facility that provides children and families with the therapies they need.

We were blessed to have Ryan and Lena share with our congregation last summer, and have provided financial support for their ministry through giving opportunities.

Kyle and Corrie Werts, Pastor Dana’s son and daughter-in-law, have been full time missionaries with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) for over a decade, now serving in Kona, Hawaii. Along with training and equipping missionaries in maternal health through Lifebearers, the Werts’ became the directors of LIV Pregnancy and Women’s Wellness in 2019 as an outreach to their community in Kona, Hawaii. Now with three locations, LIV is bringing a culture of life to the Big Island and has witnessed the unique and incredible door that maternal health can be for the gospel and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

We have been blessed to support their ministry through our endowment fund and other giving, as well as our prayers. Recently, Corrie spoke at her church on Mother’s Day. Here is the link to this service so you can hear her testimony of motherhood.
